Kuarup
In the mat of success reached by XINGU, Intervídeo produced another series of 5 (five) programs portraying the Brazilian indian. In order to register the main manifestation of the tribes of the High Xingu: the Kuarup, destined party to commemorate the enter of the soul of a great dead warrior in paradise. For its good relationship with the indians during the accomplishment of Xingu, the team of Intervídeo started to enjoy of the friendship of some tribes of the place. By the death of Malakuiawá, head of the tribe of wairá – who had one detached participation in the Xingu series, the company was invited by the tribe to appear to the party for the soul of the great chief, becoming, thus, the first television producer and cinema to register this only moment of cultural manifestation of our indians.
